FIPJP recently received news from the Canadian Federation that they are having financial difficulties securing the long-planned 2025 Junior World Championships in Joliette. This was due to the withdrawal of the biggest sponsor from the project. This was also discussed at the COMEX FIPJP meeting in Luxembourg. Unfortunately, no acceptable solution could be found to make the Junior World Championships in Canada possible. Therefore FIPJP invited some national federations if it would be in their capacity to take over the Junior World Championships.
We can now thank the Spanish Federation for offering to host the Junior World Championships on an alternative date. It will be 23-26 October 2025 in Isla Cristina - Huelva region in southern Spain. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there.
